How Nature Contributes to our Happiness

There’s nothing better than being outdoors in the fresh air, feeling the wind and the sun on your face, and even the cold, the snow, and the rain if you are in the right mindset.  When I take the time to stop and take a look around to appreciate the beauty, I feel truly at peace.  It’s like a breath of fresh air during a hectic day.  When I think about my happiest times, they are usually doing fun, outdoor activities with loved ones such as hiking, hanging out on a boat on the lake, playing outdoor games like cornhole, going to a barbeque, eating dinner at a restaurant outside, talking about life on a porch, going to the beach, canoeing, running with a friend, going ice skating, making a snowman, jumping in a pile of leaves, and the list could go on and on.  I find it so hard to pick a favorite season because I love them all!

The Beautiful Seasons

Nature in All Its Beauty

The connection I have with nature and the amount of happiness it brings to my life make me realize how much I appreciate the environment and want to conserve it the best I can. Do you feel a connection with nature and appreciate its beauty?

  1. My husband and I can totally relate. We spend as much time outdoors as possible and feel we are in touch with something much more powerful than ourselves when we are out in nature. You chose some amazing images for this post!

    • I agree. And I absolutely love and admire your journey. It would be so great to travel all over, live with only your very favorite things, and explore and try new things, see new places, and get outdoors each day. I would love to do that someday. :) Thanks for the message!

  2. Yes, I do… Always have since I was a kid. I feel stifled like the walls are closing in if I don’t get a little sun & fresh air. Though I agree with the beauty of all seasons, I do have a favorite.

Autumn, of course! :) Gorgeous images.
