  1. I’m so happy you got to go camping! It looks like an amazing time, your tent is so BIG! :) My hubby and I are already thinking about another trip… but if we go, it won’t be in a hiking tent again! hahah

  2. We went camping around Europe for a few summers in a row when I was growing up with my family and we all loved it – despite 4 siblings squashing into the back of our family car! I hadn’t been for years until last Autumn with my partner and children – quite a different experience after having been spoiled with nice hotels for a long time but I loved the experience (minus the communal loos ;-) ). What I particularly loved was my children running around outside, playing with sticks and making friends with the children near to us – also the sounds of nature at night. Also we stayed on a site in the New Forest where wild horses roam free which was about as close to nature as you can get- albeit a little scary!! Definitely good to experience again as an adult! Glad you enjoyed your experience. Are you planning another camping trip or will it be a one-off?? xx

    • That all sounds amazing! I would love to be around horses roaming (though would be a little scary). We were in a black bear area, so that was a bit scary! We will DEFINITELY do it again. We loved it – hearing and seeing all nature has to offer and living without electronics for a few days was soooo refreshing! :)
