No Bake Energy Bites

This recipe is a favorite in my family’s households!  My sister-in-law, mom, and I make them all the time.  They are delicious, easy-to-make, and a great snack for when you’re on the run!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dry oatmeal
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup flaxseeds and/or chia seeds
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions: Stir all ingredients together in bowl.  Let chill in fridge for 1/2 hour.  Once chilled, roll into balls.  Store in airtight container and keep refrigerated.  That’s it! What is your favorite snack recipe?

    • I don’t, sorry. They’re fairly high in calories, but contain all healthy ingredients, so the calories you are getting are good. They have tons of vitamins and minerals due to the chia seeds, flaxseeds, oats, and almond butter. And it’s all healthy fats: almond butter, coconut, and seeds.
