My trip to Guatemala was a life-changing event for my mind, body, and spirit.  Here are just a few of the amazing things I learned from some amazing Yogis:

  1. I just read this recently and it was published anonymously: be confident. Too many days are wasted comparing ourselves to others and wishing to be something we aren’t. Everybody has their own strengths and weaknesses and it is only when you accept everything you are-and aren’t- that you will truly succeed. Another quote I recently enjoyed is: “in the end, only three things matter: how how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.”-Buddha

    Balanced individuals seem to be able to demonstrate these pieces of wisdom in the way that they live. Something to strive for personally and seek to surround myself with in the friends that I make.
